LA Photographer Loses Home and Essential Photography Equipment in Eaton Fire

The devastating LA fires are relentlessly tearing through neighborhoods, destroying over 12,300 buildings and displacing thousands of people. Among those affected is street photographer Marcus Ubungen, who tragically lost his home in Altadena to the Eaton fire. The blaze not only destroyed his residence but also all of his photography equipment, leaving his family with next to nothing. USPS 2025 Stamp Lineup Celebrates Pop Culture Icons, Heritage, and Wildlife

The 2025 stamp lineup from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) includes fun new additions, updates to ongoing series, and some beloved fan favorites. Some new stamps for the new year spotlight legendary pop culture icons, including Keith Haring, an American artist best known for his graffiti-style artwork that contributed to the Pop Art movement. Titled Love, the stamp features two of Haring's iconic dancing figures supporting a heart, taken from his 1985 drawing Untitled.

500-Pound Bead Installation Represents Cross-Cultural Dialogue Between U.S. and Senegal

In January 2012, artist Nick Cave was invited to spend a month in Dakar, Senegal, to gain inspiration for a large-scale installation to be installed at the city's U.S. Embassy. This residency, part of the U.S. Department of State Art in Embassies (AIE) program, allowed him to create a stunning installation based on the cross-cultural dialogue he experienced with local artists.
