Researchers Rediscover Lost Egyptian Tomb With 4,400-Year-Old Mummy Inside

In the 19th century, a French scholar named Auguste Mariette found the tomb of Ptahshepses, an ancient Egyptian high priest. He then partially excavated it, removing key parts of the tomb, like its intricate false door. After the extraction of these objects, the tomb disappeared under the sand, with its location remaining a mystery—until now. A team of Czech archaeologists have rediscovered this site, long thought lost to Egyptologists.

Japanese Paper Artist Creates Spherical Pop-Art Cards Without the Use of Glue

Japanese artist Seiji Tsukimoto uses kirigami techniques to craft pop-up cards unlike any other. At first glance, they appear like flat ovals with numerous different folds and cuts  in the paper. However, by applying pressure to the sides, the card magically transforms into a sphere, and all of the precise carvings turn into figures, animals, and settings. Tsukimoto shows off his creations in videos.
