Wildlife Photographer Releases Wide-Eyed Baby Burrowing Owls Into Safe New Homes

Baby owls are some of the cutest animals out there, and these little burrowing owls are no exception. Oregon-based wildlife photographer Matt Poole posted videos on his Instagram of his conservation work helping to get baby burrowing owls into “housing.” As burrowing owls, the birds nest underground, in burrows they’ve dug themselves or taken over from a prairie dog, ground squirrel, or tortoise.

Wildlife rehabilitator Foxfeather Zenkova realized this when one of her emus decided to incubate some old eggs, which led to a whole mob of little chicks. Artist Transformed Foraged Flora Into Ferocious Dinosaur Portraits

Found leaves and flowers are transformed into ferocious creatures through the clever arrangements of Raku Inoue 井上 羅来. The Montreal-based artist is known for using natural materials to create visions of verdant animals. This time, however, he's going prehistoric. His latest series, entitled Jurassic Nature, organizes flora into the shapes of recognizable dinosaurs. From fearsome T-rexes to long-necked Brontosauruses, Inoue finds ways of capturing a range of different animals.
