Photo Restorer Colorizes 19th Century Portraits To Bring the Past To Vivid Life

It has been nearly 200 years since the world's first photograph was taken by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1826 or 1827. Since then, the field has grown tremendously, from tintypes and daguerrotypes to film and eventually digital cameras. Photo restorer Adam “A.B.” Cannon is bringing many forgotten vintage photographs from the 1800s and early 1900s to life by enhancing faces, removing dust, and colorizing images.

News Anchor Has “Beginnings of a Stroke” on Live TV, Colleagues Rush To Help

Oklahoma TV news anchor Julie Chin was speaking live on-air when suddenly she had trouble communicating. “I’m sorry,” the anchor said to her audience. “Something is going on with me this morning, and I apologize to everybody.” At that point, Chin knew something was wrong.
