Artist “Prints” Amazing Landscapes and Portraits Using Only the Characters on a Typewriter

UK-based artist and architecture student James Cook gives the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” new meaning with his incredible typewriter art. He “prints” detailed landscapes and cityscapes by using combinations of characters on the keyboard. Over the past couple of months, Cook has been using his collection of vintage typewriters to make illustrations—or “typictions,” as the artist fondly calls them—for a new show at the Wonky Wheel Gallery in Finchingfield, England.

Fascinating Footage Shows Busy Beaver Effortlessly Chewing Through a Fallen Tree

Cheesecake Topped With Capybaras Soaking In a Hot Spring Is Almost Too Cute To Eat

There are times when food looks so spectacular that it enters the realm of edible art. A university student and baker named Rin, aka @rinsforest, has done just this with their incredibly cute capybara cheesecake. The delectable dessert features the three rodents soaking in an onsen, or Japanese hot spring, sitting atop the cake surrounded by sculpted rocks, oranges, and leaves. Capybaras in an onsen, it turns out, is a real thing.
