You might think that your days of sleepovers are long gone, but thanks to the San Diego Zoo, you can now feel like a kid again. Through their Roar and Snore events, you and your friends can spend a night under the stars at the world-renowned wildlife park. Typically, people of all ages are allowed, but the zoo has another option if you'd prefer a grown-up twist: Adults-Only Roar and Snore. This special event is an age 21-and-up sleepover that includes camp activities, an after-hours look at the wildlife, guided walks, and more. Meals and snacks are provided, as is your introduction into “the secret lives of animals through the kind of information [the zoo] can only share with no children around!”

This unique opportunity allows you to see the San Diego Zoo in a whole new way. And while you might think that this type of event would be a splurge, you’re in luck. Tickets start at only $145 for the whole thing—including sleeping arrangements. For that price, you’ll stay in a traditional camping tent that can sleep up to five guests. And you can always upgrade; the Vista Tent, at $185, overlooks giraffes, rhinos, and antelope on the African Plains while the Premium Tent, costing $225, offers luxurious accommodations with electrical outlets and a queen bed.

The Adults-Only Roar and Snore is going on during select weekends up until Saturday, November 16, 2019. Tickets are currently available through the San Diego Zoo website.

Attend the Adults-Only Roar and Snore at the San Diego Zoo and you'll get to spend the night with some of the world's most amazing animals.
