Funny Photos of People Caught Sleeping in Libraries

Flickr user George Oates has curated an aptly titled gallery on the photo sharing website called People Sleeping in Libraries. The collection presents one hilarious image after the next of exactly what you'd expect–unknowing library-goers caught snoozing on the various couches and desks of book havens, surrounded by walls full of volumes of published text.

One could easily infer that these slumbering students and power napping persons have fallen prey to the Sandman while studying hard or simply being on their feet for too long. Whatever their reasons are for taking a break from consciousness, it's certainly a state of weariness that most can relate to. Who wouldn't want the option to hit the snooze button and escape into dreamland on a comfy chair in a quiet library?
