With a landscape featuring sparkling views of the Northern Lights, frozen waterfalls, and even enchanting “fairy forests,” it's no secret that Finland is one of the most beautiful places on earth. What you may not know, however, is that it's also the happiest country in the world—an honor that is at the heart of Rent a Finn, a new contest and campaign by Visit Finland.

This summer, the tourism company will send a select number of people on an all-inclusive trip to the Northern European nation. Here, real-life residents will host them for three days, giving them “a chance to learn from the best” and teaching them everything there is to know about living like a Finn.

So, who are these “happiness guides”? The eight-person roster includes people from all walks of life, from a yoga teacher who knows “how to experience nature within the city limits” to the berry-picking mayor of Santa Claus' hometown. In any case, these hosts share a single goal: to help you rekindle your relationship with the natural world.

“Our secret is in our nature, very literally,” Visit Finland explains. “When others go to therapy, Finns put on a pair of rubber boots and head to the woods.”

If you're ready to Rent a Finn, you can enter the contest through the campaign's website. All you need to do is submit a short video, fill out a form, and get a head-start “finding your calm” as you wait for the winners to be announced.

In need of a happiness lesson? Visit Finland wants to fly you out to teach you the Finnish art of happiness.
