Get ready for some great deals! Amazon Prime Day is upon us! While you might think of a day as a mere 24 hours, the “Black Friday of Amazon” is now being stretched to two days October 13 and October 14. During this time, thousands of products across Amazon will be on super sale, and there'll be more than one million deals around the world.

So, how do you take advantage of these exclusive offers? You’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member, of course! If you’ve been on the fence about joining, the company is offering a try-before-you-buy it. You can now get a 30-day trial of the service for free.

If you are looking to get a jump on your holiday shopping, Amazon has also launched its annual gift guides and storefronts just in time for the big day. You'll be able to search by theme, age, and even look at items that support small businesses.

Prime members can discover deals by asking “Alexa, what are my Prime Day deals?” Plus, starting today and for a limited time, new Prime members who sign up for Prime using an Echo device will receive a $5 Amazon credit. Just say, “Alexa, sign me up for Prime.” If you don't have either of these devices, keep an eye out on Amazon's Prime Day hub for everything on offer, broken down by category. And remember, some discounts last for a limited time, so keep checking in throughout the two days to see new offers.
