Augmented Reality Tablet of the Future

The Iris Tablet is one of those things that we all wish we knew was coming. Instead, we have to wait patiently for the technology to be developed.

Chinese designers Liu Wei, Yao Kai Chi, Hong Ruei Hong and Cheng Ya Fang conceptualized the new tablet that combines a transparent touchpad with an OLED display with augmented reality capabilities.

The wireless-charging Iris seems to have an endless combination of practical uses, including scanning documents, translating text while hovering over a page, and being an easy augmented reality navigation tool. There's even an amazing interior design app that let's you visualize a room like never before.
