Jessica Stewart

Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." A Street Savvy Fox Wins the 2025 British Wildlife Photography Awards

An image of a streetwise fox helped photographer Simon Withyman win the 2025 British Wildlife Photography Awards. His image of the female red fox, who he's been documenting for several years, on the prowl in Bristol beat out over 13,000 photographs to take the top prize. While the Bristol-based photographer earns a living photographing weddings, his win is a satisfying acknowledgment of his personal projects.

Do Ho Suh’s Stunning Architectural Installations Made of Fabric Come to London’s Tate Modern

This spring, acclaimed South Korean Artist Do Ho Suh is bringing his architectural installation to London's Tate Modern. The Genesis Exhibition: Do Ho Suh: Walk the House is not only a major survey of his work, but is also the artist's first major solo show in London in over 20 years. Through large-scale installations, sculptures, videos, and drawings, the public will examine the last 30 years of his artistic production.

Surreal Sculptures Capture Fragility and Depth of Human Experience

Catalan sculptor Jaume Plensa, who is known for his monumental installations, revisits a more intimate setting in an exhibition called Murmuri. Even the exhibition's title, which translates from Catalan to “murmurs” or “whispers,” points to the personal nature of the work. Through a series of sculptures and works on paper, Plensa gives visitors a clear look at his impressive oeuvre and his ability to transform materials. Two sculptures from Plensa's Nest series anchor the show.

Striking Winners of the 2025 World Nature Photography Awards

From thousands of entries submitted by photographers from 48 countries, the 2025 World Nature Photography Awards selected its winners. Founded on the belief that nature photography can influence how the public treats our planet, the awards shine a spotlight on superlative imagery. This year, Slovenia's Maruša Puhek was named Nature Photographer of the Year and won the Nature Art category for her striking image of two deer running through a snowy vineyard.
