Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Aerial Photographer Waits Three Years for Epic Photo of Jet Flying Over the Rose Bowl

When photographer Tyler Leipprandt saw a photo of a B2 Bomber flying over the Rose Bowl, it instantly became part of his bucket list to capture an image of it. It took three years, but luckily, Leipprandt saw his dream come true during the 2024 Rose Bowl. As the owner of Michigan Sky Media, Leipprandt is an expert at aerial photography.

Ernest Cole’s Lost American Photos From the 1960s and 1970s Published for the First Time

Born in 1940 in South Africa, photographer Ernest Cole is known for his early work detailing the horrors of apartheid. As South Africa's first Black freelance photographer, he was in a unique position to detail what was happening. But in 1966, he was labeled a “banned person” and fled the country. His work as a photographer continued. He resettled in New York and, in 1967, published his landmark book of apartheid photos, House of Bondage.

Gorgeous Nature Photography From the 2023 Canadian Photos of the Year Contest

One of Canada's oldest and most beloved magazines, Canadian Geographic, is celebrating the country's talented photographers with its Canadian Photos of the Year competition. The 2023 contest saw over 8,000 entries, with 12 being singled out for their originality, technical skill, and visual impact. In addition, Brandon Broderick has been named Canadian Photographer of the Year for his strong portfolio of work.

Rare Photo of a Crab-Eating Macaque Wins World’s Largest Underwater Photo Contest

The world's largest underwater photo contest has revealed the results of its coveted competition and the winners are spectacular. Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition, organized by the Underwater Photography Guide, gave out over $120,000 in prizes to photographers in 14 different categories, as well as the overall winner. Photographer Suliman Alatiqi made a big splash in this year's competition.
