Pastry Chef Sculpts Life-Size Foosball Table Entirely From Chocolate

Sometimes you see a work of art that looks good enough to eat. In the case of Amaury Guichon‘s sculptures, you actually can take a bite. The French-born and Las Vegas-based chef is famous for creating lifelike art entirely from edible ingredients. One of his most recent masterpieces not only resembles a foosball table but it also possesses some of the same functions. Guichon constructed the complex work from numerous pieces of chocolate.

Man Takes His 26-Year-Old African Tortoise on Walks Through Tokyo

Dog owners know the importance of taking their pups on regular walks. These days, it's not even uncommon to see some people bringing their cats out on a stroll. However, it's not every day that you come across a tortoise ambling down the street. Japanese man Hisao Mitani has become a familiar sight in Tsukishima, Tokyo, where he can often be seen accompanying his African tortoise on leisurely walks around the city.

Colorful Wooden “Pixels” Converge To Create Enigmatic Face Masks

Instead of carving a sculpture from one material, Gil Bruvel slowly builds his masterpieces with numerous parts. The Texas-based artist's ongoing project The Mask Series features large-scale sculptures of human faces, all of which are made from assembling colored wooden blocks of varying sizes. From afar, these portraits appear highly realistic, but the closer you are to the piece, the more pixelated it becomes.
