As 2022 comes to an end, it’s always fun to look back on where the year has taken us. One way to get a sense of the prevailing trends is to see what products everyone wanted over the past 365 days. From artsy McDonald’s Happy Meal toys to Target-brand birds that are TikTok sensations, there’s a lot that we loved this year.

Collaborations represented some of the most sought-after products in 2022. One of our favorite partnerships involved Adidas and The Simpsons. Marge Simpson, the iconic matriarch, was reimagined in the form of an Adidas Superstar shoe with her blue hair incorporated into the texture of the sneaker. Another collaboration saw Takashi Murakami's colorful art on a limited edition UNO card deck. It transformed the game into something as whimsical as the artist is, with all of the pieces decorated in the Superflat art style made famous by Murakami in 2001.
