Phillies Baseball Player Helps Young Boy Find His Family Before the Game

The crowds of a major league baseball game can be overwhelming, especially for children. When 7-year-old Caleb was at the Philadelphia Phillies stadium last weekend, he got separated from his family, which understandably caused the young boy to break down in tears. Unsure of who to turn to, little Caleb was fortunately approached by Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper. The baseball player kindly helped him find his brothers and grandmother.

13-Year-Old Skateboarder Becomes the First Girl to Land a 720 Trick

This June was a historic time for skateboarding. Not only did it mark 24 years since the iconic Tony Hawk landed a 900 skateboarding trick—which is two and a half turns in the air—but this month also heralded a new star in the sport. Arisa Trew, a 13-year-old from Australia, was competing at Hawk's Vert Alert competition in Salt Lake City when she landed a spectacular 720 (two full rotations in the air)

Rick Hoyt, Who Finished 32 Boston Marathons With His Father Pushing His Wheelchair, Has Died at 61

Rick Hoyt, whose father pushed him in his wheelchair for 32 Boston Marathons, has died at age 61. Together with his father Dick, who passed away in 2021, he competed in numerous athletic competitions and provided inspiration to differently-abled people around the world. According to his family, Hoyt died from complications with his respiratory system. Hoyt was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth and was confined to a wheelchair.
