One adorable baby goat's dreams have just come true thanks to the help of a new set of wheels. Frostie the snow goat has been afflicted with the disease joint navel ill since birth, rendering his hind legs unusable. Although the kind folks at the nonprofit farm animal sanctuary Edgar's Mission put him on a regimen of antibiotics and painkillers, Frostie needed to be able to move around in order to flush the disease's toxins out of his body. Out of necessity, the innovative workers at the sanctuary gave the little goat an adjustable cart that fastens around his body, allowing his hind legs to remain still while the wheels give him motion.
For Frostie, who has been unable to walk since birth, the tiny cart has been a blessing, allowing him to become newly mobile. The video below shows the lovable baby goat timidly take his first steps before suddenly bounding and frolicking in the grass in delight. While bleating and wagging his tail happily, Frostie explores his new surroundings, stopping often to nibble on the grass or to kiss his handlers on the nose. Seeing his pure joy is truly heartwarming, a touching reminder to be thankful for all the small blessings and pleasures in life.
