As we've seen before, makeup has the unbelievable power to transform people into entirely different beings. Italy-based makeup artist Lucia Pittalis demonstrates the magic of cosmetics by turning herself into famous musicians, actors, and TV and film characters.
Using just wigs, makeup, a few accessories, and her raw skills, the 43-year-old artist morphs into iconic figures such as Marlon Brando, Keith Richards, Walter White, and Bette Davis. Her transformation into these celebrities is all-encompassing, as she not only recreates their facial structures, wrinkles, and hair, but also their attitudes.
Her secret? Nothing more than intense studying and observation. She told the Huffington Post, “The process is studying the character–watching photos, movies, videos and saving frames where necessary. I think how can it be adapted on my face. It is a kind of acting process before. I must be that character. Then I put on background music related to that character to be in the mood and I start to watch myself in the mirror.”
