100+ Copper Arrows Frozen Just Before the Moment of Impact

This past January, at the Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles, artist Glenn Kaino showed A Shout Within a Storm, a mobile installation composed of more than 100 copper arrows pointing at an invisible target. Each arrow is reliant upon the other to create the fascinating illusion of arrows being hurled through the air.

Spectacularly Detailed Dioramas Hidden Inside Vintage Ring Boxes

In Toronto-based artist Talwst's dioramas, antique ring boxes become tiny theaters where spectacularly detailed scenes unfold on a miniature scale. The artist began his unique hobby when a vendor at a Paris market handed him an old ring box and said, “I want to see you do something with this.” Talwst turned it into a seaside scene featuring a woman in a black, vintage swimsuit, and his spectacular series was born.

A London student recently designed this conservation-friendly faucet that swirls your water into captivating geometric patterns as soon as you turn on the tap. The faucet weaves small jets of water into intricate, cross-hatched designs that look like they belong on delicate crystal glassware. The faucet head is a simple, minimalistic curve, making the designs it spouts out all the more delightful.

Photo of Weasel Riding on a Woodpecker Spawns Hilarious Photoshop Meme

Chances are, you might've already seen this incredible photograph by Martin LeMay. It's the unforgettable sight of a weasel clinging to the back of a woodpecker in midair. LeMay and his wife encountered the two creatures while walking in a park in London. Although the weasel was trying to attack the bird, the couple's presence distracted them and the woodpecker was able to escape.
