Elegant Pop-Up Installation Merges Flowers and Industrial Aesthetics

For one day only, flowers became art in a Williamsburg townhouse thanks to Crosby Studios and Flover. The Paris and New York City-based Crosby Studios, run by Henry Nuriev, is known for its industrial aesthetic. By partnering with Flover, a floral design studio, it created Flower Room. This installation fuses nature with minimalism to create a fascinating result.

Typewriter Artist Creates Meticulously Detailed Cityscapes and Portraits [Interview]

When the first commercial typewriters hit the market in 1874, they quickly became an essential tool for writing and communication. However, its inventors—Christopher Latham Sholes, Carlos Glidden, and Samuel W. Soule—probably never imagined that their machine would be used to make visual art more than 150 years later. Using his collection of over 100 vintage typewriters, London-based artist James Cook creates intricate, one-of-a-kind artworks made entirely from thousands of hand-typed letters and symbols.

Photographer’s Epic Encounter With a Grizzly Bear Known as “The Boss”

Canada’s Banff  National Park is home to a lot of animals, but there’s one that truly rules the roost. “The Boss” is a large male grizzly bear believed to be in his mid-twenties. He’s outlasted many grizzlies in the area and is recognizable thanks to a missing piece of his ear. In late 2022, The Boss went viral thanks to photos taken by photographer Jason Leo Bantle.
