Incredible Sculpture in Beijing Says “Hello” in 101 Different Languages

Language lovers will appreciate a steel sculpture created in celebration of Beijing Foreign Studies University's 80th anniversary. Embracing the university's keywords of communication, exchange, and connection, artist Hu Quanchun designed a flowing sculpture with a special surprise engraved on the underside. Across the entire surface, the word hello is written in 101 different languages. This choice reflects the 101 language programs at BFSU and its warm embrace of other cultures.

LEGO Foundation Donates $143 Million to Organizations That Help Early Childhood Development

Nearly 100 years after their invention, LEGO toys continue to be discovered and enjoyed by kids from around the world. Now, The LEGO Foundation is giving back to children for its 90th anniversary. LEGO CEO Anne-Birgitte Albrectsen wants to address a “global early childhood emergency” brought upon by the pandemic by donating $143 million to organizations that “make a positive impact on the youngest children anywhere in the world.
