Airstream Launches Ultra-Luxury Camper Van That Fits Into a Parking Space

Small Airstream Model Called Interstate Nineteen

The legendary company Airstream might be known for their quirky 1950s-era trailers, but they’ve continued to reinvent themselves over their long tenure. They’ve since created contemporary mobile homes that can trek off-road or depart on spontaneous adventures—and beyond. But not everyone wants to drive across country in a spaceship-like vessel or by attaching a camper to their car. This is where Airstream’s Interstate Nineteen comes in. They’ve condensed their best-selling Interstate EXT trailer into a “smaller, nimbler 19-foot package.” The best part? It can fit into a parking spot.

From the outside, the Interstate Nineteen looks like an everyday conversion-style van. Inside, however, is every traveler’s dream. The luxurious interior is comfortable with modern conveniences you’d find in a conventional home. It features a main cabin that includes plank-style flooring, power window shades, a power rear sofa and ottomans, an LED HDTV, and USB charging ports. In addition, a galley kitchen has a cooktop, sink, and slide out shelf for extra working space. A wet bath boasts a one-piece shower, toilet, and retractable clothesline.

Perfect for two travelers, the luxury of the Interstate Nineteen comes with a price tag of $149,240 to match. While steep, you’d never need to stay in an Airbnb with this vehicle; it’s like a hotel room on wheels.

The small Airstream model called Interstate Nineteen can fit into a parking space, but inside it offers a full range of luxury features.
