For fans of indie films, the release of a new Wes Anderson flick is as anticipated as any of the big summer blockbusters. Known for his distinctive cinematic style and casts of quirky characters, Anderson's productions have delighted moviegoers for over 20 years. If you’re a fan of Anderson’s films, you won’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy his latest creative offering; the trailer for his upcoming flick—and 10th feature—The French Dispatch was recently released.

The French Dispatch details a fictional New Yorker-esque magazine in 20th-century France. Run by American ex-pat journalists, the trailer highlights those characters as well as several fictional stories that are to be published in the magazine’s final issue. In the action-packed trailer, we preview enthralling tales detailing artists, revolutionaries, as well as mystery and intrigue. The multiple plots have allowed Anderson to work with many of his favorite actors including Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, and, of course, Bill Murray.

Watch the full trailer below. The French Dispatch will be released on July 24, 2020.
