Clear Jigsaw Puzzle of “Shattered Glass” Challenges You to Fix “The Accident”

Puzzles are a fun and challenging way to pass the time. They're also experiencing a peak in popularity right now. So if you’ve worked your way through multiple 500 or 1,000 piece jigsaws, you might be itching to try something a bit on the unconventional side. In that case, look to the animation studio (turned puzzle maker) Yelldesign. They’ve created a series of three transparent jigsaw puzzles that are both cheeky and challenging.

Yelldesign uses see-through acrylic to create puzzles whose subjects lend themselves to transparency. Perhaps the best example of this is “The Accident” that’s modeled after a shattered pane of glass. Luckily, this puzzle is much safer than handling actual pieces of glazing. Featuring 215 unique bits, you’ve got to match the “shards” until all that’s left is a hole resembling a broken window.

“The Accident” is one of three clear puzzles available through Yelldesign. They also offer “The Fish Tank” featuring a singular orange fish among a sea of transparent pieces as well as “The Virus,” which is a circular puzzle with a neon green fluoro virus as its centerpiece.

All puzzles are now available in Yelldesign’s online shop.

Yelldesign has created acrylic jigsaw puzzles that are as cheeky as they are challenging.
