If you’re a lover of house plants, chances are you’re running out of places to keep your abundance of leafy friends. That’s why BloomingTables came up with a genius solution that allows you to seamlessly bring the beauty of the outdoors indoors, all while saving space. In a recently launched Kickstarter campaign, the team of innovators and nature lovers have debuted BloomingTables—an elegant piece of furniture that doubles as a succulent garden.

“There are an abundance of stunning species of plants, and countless ways to create arrangements. However, there are limited options for the housing of indoor plants,” say the creators on Kickstarter. “BloomingTables was born out of the idea that beautiful plants deserve beautiful homes. We have created a product that has brought character and joy into our home, and we want to share this experience with others.”

The minimalist table design measures 30 inches tall, 33 inches long, and 10.5 inches wide. Held up by a set of steel hairpin legs, it features a watertight acrylic tub, a 6mm tempered glass top, four UV-resistant suction cups to hold the glass in place, and a painted maple veneer box. To use it, just fill it with a layer of gravel and activated charcoal to absorb water and then create your own beautiful succulent arrangement. When your plants need a drink, simply lift the glass off the suction cups, water, and put it back on. The table is best suited by a window for natural sunlight, but using a lamp with an incandescent lightbulb is also advised.

The campaign has already reached its goal, but there's still time to help support the project and get your own piece of functioning furniture. BloomingTables expects to send out preorders by November 2019. Find out more on Kickstarter.
