If you’ve ever texted “K” to someone, it could mean “okay” but you know it really only means one thing: you’re mad as hell. Instagram account HipDict tells it how it is, by defining what “K” and other everyday words really imply. The hilarious “definitions” are all user submitted, so anyone can add to the highly relatable crowdsourced collection.

Once a submission is accepted, the word and/or phrase is posted to Instagram in the layout style of a real dictionary definition. Now with over 2.5 million followers, HipDict's portfolio is full of honest and funny interpretations of words, with definitions that are perfectly phrased. One user describes Instagram as “Like a fridge, you keep opening and closing it every few minutes to see if there's anything good when you get bored.” In another, “FaceTime” is defined as “I spend most of the time looking at myself in that little window instead of looking at you.” Guilty!

Scroll down to check out some of our favorite hilarious HipDict posts, and if you’re inspired to add your own, you can submit your definition here.
