Family Shares Photoshop Fail of Professional Portraits Gone Hilariously Wrong

Family photos are always filled with memories, but Pam Zaring got even more than she bargained for when she saw the results of her family's professional photo shoot. The family paid a photographer about $250 for the images, and Zaring couldn't contain her laughter when looking at what was delivered as the final product. Yes, you are seeing things correctly—these are the finished images.

Claiming that there were shadows across each member of the family's faces, and not knowing how to retouch them, this is the result. It seems like only the dogs were spared from a Photoshop fail that has turned everyone into a strange cartoon. Luckily, Zaring has a good sense of humor. “She said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos,” Zaring writes. “Feel free to share, I literally have not laughed this hard in YEARS!!!!!”

Indeed, others seem to agree, as the ridiculous images have gone viral since Zaring originally shared them. At the time of writing, over 350,000 people had liked and shared the photos, with comments pouring in from around the world. One photo editor even tried to generously Photoshop their real faces back onto the images.

Through it all Zaring and her family have remained in good spirits about the photos, reminding others that there's no need for negative comments and to take the work with a grain of salt. “It was worth the money we spent for the humor we received!!!! I hope y’all have laughed as hard as we have!!!!”

This family was in for a hillarious surprise when they received the final images from their family photo shoot.

The photographer insisted that the retouches were necessary due to shadows.

Since the photos have been posted online, they've gone viral.

One photo editor even tried to remedy the Photoshop fail, by reinserting the family's faces.
