Twitter Thread Proves Jeff Goldblum’s Outfits Pair Perfectly with Pop Tarts

Jeff Goldblum is a man of many talents. Known for his stellar acting and dapper good looks, he has another ability that was previously hiding in plain sight. Comedy writer Rachel Clayton has pointed out that Goldblum is a pro at matching his sartorial choices with Pop Tart flavors. That’s right—it seems that the tasty treats could be outfit inspiration for the quirky Hollywood actor. Through side-by-side comparisons, he matches the pastries' icing and filling all too well.

In a now-viral Twitter thread, Clayton “humbly presents” Goldblum paired with boxes of Pop Tarts. She begins the discussion with him wearing a camel-colored blazer and couples the ensemble with Pop Tart's chocolate frosted fudge pastry. From there, the comparisons grow more ridiculous, the more unusual the flavors. One of the most surprising—yet spot-on—is Goldblum and Pop Tart's limited edition Splitz flavors. The actor is wearing an eccentric patterned shirt where each half is a different motif. It turns out that this is eerily similar to the pastry that’s one half frosted strawberry and the other half drizzled cheesecake. Like Goldblum’s top, each side is decorated in its own way.

Check out the Goldblum Pop Tart pairings, below. You’ll be amazed by how many wonderful pictures of Goldblum that exist and how many, um, interesting flavors of Pop Tarts have been made.

If Jeff Goldblum and Pop Tarts seem like an unlikely pairing, prepare to have your mind changed.

In a viral Twitter thread, Rachel Clayton “humbly presents” the actor as the breakfast pastry and shows how similar their ensembles (and frosting) really are.
