This Versatile Hammock Tent Can Be Used on Land, Air, and Water

Multifunctional Tree Tent by Tentsile

The Universe 5-Person Tree Tent by Tentsile already stands out as an epic hammock tent, but there’s more to this piece of outdoor equipment than meets the eye. The multifunctional design makes it useable on land, air, and water, so you can take it with you on every adventure.

On land, Universe can act as a normal camping tent. With plenty of space, it can comfortably sleep up to 5 people, and there’s even storage vestibules and ventilation. There’s no need to put up with crouching around inside either—there is six feet of headspace when covered, and three large porch areas for shoes and other bulky items.

On air, the tent can be suspended from two trees—just like a hammock but with rain coverage. But perhaps its most impressive function is that is can float on water. The tent base is made from a rigid, inflatable, three-inch PVC drop-stitch insulated floor, so all you need to do is roll back the fabric side doors and insect mesh and you’ve got yourself a raft that holds up to 880 pounds! Tentsile says, “No matter where you go, Tentsile Universe will have you well-prepared when you’re face-to-face with the elements.”
