Best of 2025: Fiber Artists Leading the Resurgence of Textile Art

This year, fiber art has been gaining even more momentum in museums and galleries around the world. Just this past spring, the Museum of Modern Art in New York staged a monumental survey of fiber art titled Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction. The art market, in turn, has responded accordingly, seeing a price spike in craft-based works. For some, though, this resurgence may come as a bit of a surprise.

Beeple Reimagines Elon Musk and Other Tech Titans as Robot Dogs Pooping Out Their POVs

At Art Basel Miami this year, digital artist Beeple introduced an installation that feels all at once humorous, unsettling, and strangely inevitable. His work, Regular Animals, features a pack of animatronic robot dogs fitted with hyperrealistic silicone masks of figures who loom large over our cultural and technological landscapes: Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and even Beeple himself.
