Created by a group of four photographers, this photo contest is unique in that it has established clear rules to avoid deceptive digital editing techniques and the use of artificial intelligence that has become commonplace in landscape photography. This makes for imagery that is simply a showcase of the natural beauty of our landscape.

Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave’ Is Now on View at the Art Institute of Chicago Galleries

Few works of art are recognizable to almost everyone around the world, but one such work is Katsushika Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also called Under the Wave off Kanagawa. The Japanese woodblock print, created by the artist in 1831, has touched every corner of the world. From 100-year-old diamond tiaras to modern-day Japanese currency and even LEGO sets. There are few realms of art and culture immune to the wave.

Stylish Film Map Features Hundreds of Clever References to Your Favorite Movies

A few years ago, movie lovers realized they could translate their passion to the real world and show off their knowledge with cool merch. A group of such fans was UK-based company Dorothy, who in 2012 launched a very clever Film Map. Drawing from a vintage map of Los Angeles, the creators packed the design with nods to the greatest films of all time.
