Architects Design Futuristic ‘Spaceport City’ for Commercial Space Travel

On August 2, 2020, SpaceX Dragon 2 successfully splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico, returning private astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley from a resupply mission to the International Space Station. Takashi Murakami Headlines Sotheby’s First-Ever Auction Dedicated To Contemporary Japanese Art

This October, Sotheby's London had its first-ever auction dedicated to contemporary Japanese art. Entitled From Japan With Love, it included 73 lots, divided into five themes: Neo-Pop, Kawaii, Anime and Manga, Homage to Shunga, and Provoke/Photobooks. Each theme contained work by renowned creatives. Neo-Pop, for instance, featured colorful pieces by Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama. Kawaii, which focuses on the aesthetic of cuteness, included works by Yoshimoto Nara and American artist KAWS.

Rare Siberian Tiger Hugging a Tree Photo Wins Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award

Over 49,000 submissions flooded into the Natural History Museum London's Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020 competition. This year, the winners were revealed during a special online ceremony. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, made the announcement that Russian photographer Sergey Gorshkov won the top prize for his photo of a Siberian tiger.
