You Can Now Take an Immersive Virtual Tour of the Lascaux Cave Paintings

In 1940, a teenager accidentally stumbled upon a series of prehistoric paintings in southwestern France. Though eventually called the Lascaux cave, the site is actually a web of multiple caves, with art on the walls dating back to the Upper Paleolithic era (between 12,000 to 50,000 years ago). The excitement surrounding the discovery led to the cave's opening in the mid-1950s.

Mesmerizing Blueprint Poster Details the History of Disco Music

How much do you know about disco? From Donna Summer to ABBA, there are numerous artists who have left their mark on music from this influential genre. UK-based studio Dorothy has mapped out the must-know names from disco history and arranged them on a beautiful blueprint poster. The detailed screen print was nine months in the making, chronicling over 600 musicians, DJs, producers, clubs, and record labels onto the circuit diagram of a Klipschorn speaker.
