Even if you haven’t watching Disney+’s Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian, chances are you’ve seen Baby Yoda (aka The Child) taking over the Internet lately. The adorable little character is the subject of many memes, but he’s also recently inspired a delectable pie crust design by Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin (of Pies Are Awesome).
Clark-Bojin has been baking pop culture-inspired pies for several years, but her festive Baby Yoda creation is one of her best edible designs yet. Rendered in pastry, the big-eared child is featured wearing a Santa hat and holding a warm cup of cocoa. “This RaspBaby Yoda pie (with his little mug of cocoa) is my new definition of ‘Hygge,’” says the talented baker. “Okay, he’s technically called ‘The Child' and not ‘Baby Yoda,' but look at that cozy little face and tell me that’s not a baby Yoda!” If the pie’s design isn’t already sweet enough, it also has a mouth-watering raspberry filling—although it just might be too cute to eat!
Check out step-by-step photos of how Clark-Bojin made her Baby Yoda pie below, plus some other festive-themed pie crust designs from her portfolio.
