12 Creative Makeup Looks for Every Sign of the Zodiac

Aquarius Zodiac Makeup by Kimberly Money

LA-based photographer and makeup artist Kimberly Money just finished her personal project of creating unique looks for all 12 signs of the zodiac. Using herself as a model, she even shot all of the final self-portraits using her iPhone.

By switching up wigs and changing up her makeup, Money successfully interprets the range of the zodiac. While some signs are easily identifiable by props—such as the Scorpio's namesake animal or the horns of Capricorn—she translates others both through makeup and expert modeling. For instance, Pisces, known as the “dreamer and healer of the horoscope family,” has a sweet, ethereal feel. Conversely, the fierce characteristics of Leo are projected through Money's smoky, proud eyes.

The 19-year-old was inspired to take on the project by well-known makeup artist Setareh Hosseini, whose zodiac makeup series received viral attention. For Money, the work combines her three loves—photography, makeup, and styling. We look forward to seeing more creative makeup in the future from this emerging talent.
