Fabulously Ferocious T.Rex Purse Adds Playful Fun to the Conventional Carry-All

Fashion is at its best when it’s both fun and functional. A purse, while handy, doesn't have to be confined to a rectangle or square—it has way more design possibilities than that. As Kate Spade proves, you can inject some whimsy into your wardrobe while looking elegant at the same time. The luxury designer has created a T.rex dinosaur purse that’s clad in a light pink leather and adorned with gold-plated hardware and a cross-body chain. To add to its adorably ferocious look, tiny teeth accompany its too-short arms.

The idea behind the product is “constant companionship.” Women rarely leave home without their handbags because they contain their must-have possessions like keys, phone, and wallet. The Kate Spade dinosaur purse is a playful riff on this concept and personifies the utilitarian object. So, it’s not surprising that fashionistas have given entire personalities—and Instagram accounts—to this creature bag. Rexington, aka @adventuresofapinktrex, has traveled across the U.S. and Canada taking in some of the countries’ finest sights.

The T.rex purse is currently available through Kate Spade’s online shop.

The Kate Spade dinosaur purse puts the “fun” in functional. The ferocious creature bag will keep you company and hold your prized belongings.
