Action-Packed Photos Reimagine Hot & Spicy KFC Chicken as Fiery Explosions

Recently, KFC has decided to bring back one of its most beloved crispy classics: its Hot & Spicy Chicken. Known for packing a punch, this fiery fried chicken has been reimagined as action-packed explosions in a clever new ad campaign by Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong.

At first glance, the eye-catching composites look like authentic photographs of exciting events, including a space shuttle launch, a car race, and a climactic movie scene. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the spacecraft's smoke, race car's exhaust, and dramatic detonation are actually the strategically lit and perfectly camouflaged chicken.

Like all of Oglivy & Mather Hong Kong's work, this campaign puts an engaging spin on a familiar product—or, in this case, a favorite snack. By combining cutting-edge editing with “finger lickin' good” food, Oglivy & Mather Hong Kong showcases both the imagination of its designers and the versatility of its brand.
