Creative Coffee Shop Prints Edible Self-Portraits on Lattes

With this clever technology by a small, Taiwan-based coffee chain, no longer will your cup of morning joe be confused with someone else's order at the local coffee shop. To promote their business, Let's Cafe has recently introduced an innovative foam art printer that produces your own face on the surface of any delicious foamy latte. The realistic depiction exactly mimics the original photo in an original, and very temporary, work of art.

Let's Cafe exists as small kiosks within Taiwan's Family Mart convenience stores and, as a result, the company works hard to offer memorable experiences that are comparable to more established coffee chains. In order to achieve a customized latte, customers can upload an image from their mobile phones to a special printer. The image is then printed as edible powder onto the surface of the foam. The inventive take on latte art is a playful way to entertain customers by personalizing the otherwise ordinary beverages.
