Tattooist Inks Delicate Floral Tattoos That Bloom Forever Across Skin

Floral Tattoos by Barry Flowers

Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Barry Flowers creates body art that blooms forever. Inspired by the natural beauty of flora, he draws delicate illustrations of flowers, leaves, and butterflies across the expanse of people's skin.

Rather than use color, Flowers chooses to render his sprawling designs in a minimalist, monochromatic palette. As a result, he allows his precise linework to shine. After creating the outline of the plant, he fills the petals and leaves with faint shading to add depth to the drawing.

Clients visit from near and far to receive one of Flower's exquisite designs. His diverse portfolio showcases how he applies his love of organic motifs to cover different areas of people's bodies, from the shoulders to the entire arm and leg. Flowers of varying sizes blossom on stems that “grow” along the skin, perfectly arranged so that they appear to have always belonged there.

You can book an appointment or consultation with Flowers through his website and see more tattoo art by following him on Instagram.
