Illustrator Captures the Magic of Everyday Moments as Spectacular Scenes

Digital Drawings by Joze Shimazak

Have you ever stopped to feel the rain on your skin or taken a moment to observe the night sky? Japanese illustrator Joze Shimazaki’s charming digital drawings capture the magic of these type of everyday moments. From standing on the shore of a moon-lit beach to dancing in puddles, each image shows there’s beauty to be found everywhere.

While some of Shimazaki’s illustrations depict familiar scenes, others blend reality with the artist’s imagination. In one dreamlike image, a girl floats through a glittering galaxy with an astronaut and, in another, a female figure stands on a chimney top to release a group of colorful balloons. No matter the scene, all of Shimazaki’s ethereal drawings are beautifully rendered in her distinct style, full of vibrant color and expressive texture.
