Meowvelous Illustration Shows a World Made Entirely of Fluffy Cats

Malaysian artist Kamwei Fong is famous on Instagram for his adorable black cat drawings that look palpably soft. He creates each of these plush felines through meticulous linework made up of numerous tiny, individual strokes. Now, Fong has given his feline fluffballs a home in his newest piece, Wonderfurryland. At about 25 x 37 inches, this piece features a large menagerie of quirky black cats scampering about the page.

Giant Flower Mural Painted Across 5 Surfaces of a Building in San Jose

San Francisco-based artist Mona Caron shines a light on the world of unseen plants through incredible mural art. She recently completed a large-scale painting of a flower on the facade of San Jose's convention center, covering five planes with lush, pastel-colored leaves. Entitled Limonium after a species of California marsh rosemary, this whimsical mural appears to look like one continuous flower even from different angles.

Talented artists continue to explore the creative possibilities of resin. This malleable material resembles the qualities of glass but offers more durability and wear. Maryland-based artist Rachel Walker-Hook of Chessie Goes Wild Art combines epoxy resin with wood to create unique pieces inspired by the ocean. Walker-Hook discovered resin art while she was recovering from an injury and quickly became enthralled by the medium and its ability to replicate the glittering properties of water.

You Can Rent a Hot Tub Boat and Explore Seattle’s Famous Lake Union

Hot tubs are undoubtedly relaxing, but a hot tub boat takes unwinding to the next level. It's also an ideal social distancing activity. Residents of Seattle can rent a floating jacuzzi and explore the sites of the 580-acre Lake Union with a select group of people. Each hot tub boat fits up to six people, features an electric motor, and an onboard diesel heater which keeps the water at a steamy 104°F (40 °C).
