The extraordinary beauty of nature serves as inspiration for many creatives in their work. Ukrainian artist Anna Paschenko (of Roslynka) is best known for her elegant resin and glass artworks that capture the transient beauty of crashing ocean waves. In some of her works, Paschenko combines the translucent fluidity of her resin art with the reflective properties of mirrors to create hanging wall mirrors framed by the contours of breaking ocean waves.
Each handmade piece brings a little bit of the seaside into your home decor, transporting you just for an instant to a calming shore. In addition to her sea and ocean-inspired collections, Paschenko also works with pressed flowers and botanicals, incorporating them into her home decor pieces. Framed using a stained glass technique, the dried flowers and botanicals are sealed between two pieces of glass along with a two-millimeter mirror. The accented pieces, which she cuts into a variety of shapes, are at once both decorative and functional with their delicate charm.
