Struggling to keep your plants alive? Vancouver-based artist Zoe (of Zoet Studio) has an alternative to leafy friends that look great, and smell even better. She creates handmade succulent and flower-shaped soy candles that are so cute, you’ll never want to burn them.
Made of pure soy wax, lead-free wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oil, and poured into elegant glasses, each candle is lovingly handcrafted in small batches. Zoe’s colorful mini cacti candles and waxy rose buds allow you to celebrate the beauty of nature indoors, but they’re not only pretty— they also make your home smell amazing. Scents include white tea and sandalwood, as well as Zoe’s custom blends such as “Yoga” (eucalyptus and lavender) and “Mountain Walk” (pine and vanilla bean).
Wondering what the difference is between soy candles and regular ones? Most store-bought candles are made from paraffin, a material that releases toxic chemicals into the environment. However, soy candles are made from soybeans, meaning they don't contribute to CO2 levels. Not only are they better for the environment, but they burn 50% longer than regular candles.
