Nowadays, in the digital age, we’re used to sharing our photos on social media, but we don’t often get to hold those captured moments in our hands as a printed photo. Even though there are tons of flashy digital cameras with impressive, high-tech features, not all of them have the tactile quality of a classic instant camera that we still find ourselves yearning for. That’s why Kodak designed the new Kodak STEP—a compact, digital camera that allows you to take a picture and print it out instantly with the click of a button.
The Kodak STEP combines the qualities of an easy-to-use digital camera with the fun spontaneity of an instant one. Simply raise the viewfinder to power it on and choose a photo mode. Then, point, shoot, and wait for your photos to print. You can choose to print in full color, black and white, or even with a vintage sepia-toned look. You don’t have to worry about replacing ink cartridges either—the Kodak STEP comes with 2-by-3-inch printing paper inlaid with color crystals that bring your image to life. Each print features an adhesive layer on the back, so you can easily stick your photos anywhere you like.
As well as the basic Kodak STEP model, the photography brand also released the Kodak STEP Touch. It features an integrated LCD touch screen that allows you to edit your photos before you print them. You can even record HD videos with sound and share them straight to social media from the device itself.
You can buy both the Kodak STEP and Kodak STEP Touch on Amazon now, or from the Kodak website. Scroll down to check them both out.
