Treat Your Feet to These Artistic Socks Inspired by Famous Masterpieces

Artistic Socks by Curator Socks

Portugal-based brand Curator Socks is adding creative flair to outfits, one pair of socks at a time. They specialize in interpreting some of art history's most famous masterpieces as wearable works of art. From well-known painters like Piet Mondrian to hidden gems like Hilma af Klint—you'll want to collect all of these novelty socks.

Spanish artist Francisco Goya is well-known for his expressive and often haunting paintings. One of his most famous works, titled Saturn Devouring His Son (1819-23), depicts the horrifying Greek myth in which the titan Cronus (whom the Romans called Saturn) ate his children because he feared that they would overthrow him. Now, fearless fashionistas can wear the chilling painting on their feet. The Saturn Devouring His Son Socks feature a minimalist print of Saturn swallowing his child on a solid grey background. It's the perfect accessory for a brave trendsetter.

Or, if you prefer art with a whimsical side, there's the No. 7, Adulthood Socks. This pastel-colored pair is inspired by Swedish artist Hilma af Klint's series of numbered abstract paintings that capture the stage of development in one's life from childhood to adulthood. Klint believed her art was ahead of its time, so these groundbreaking works were not shown until 40 years after her death. The dreamy design is sure to make your feet happy.

However, if you can't choose which pair of socks to get, there's also the Masterpieces Sock Pack. Inside the set are creative interpretations of The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, Composition II by Piet Mondrian, The Kiss by Gustav Klimt, and the Great Wave by Hokusai. The variety of color schemes and artistic styles gives you different options to pair with your ensemble. Plus, all of these socks are made in Portugal out of a super soft combed cotton blend so that they're as cozy as they are striking.
